A Superhero Vacation In This First Trailer From ‘Far From Home’

Peter Parker tries to take a European vacation with friends but Nick Fury and Mysterio have other plans

Peter Parker tries to take a relaxing vacation across Europe but bigger plans won’t allow that to happen.

In this sequel to the successful Spider-Man: Homecoming, as we can see from this first trailer, Peter will travel to both Venice and London. However, an unexpected visit from Nick Fury will start a chain of events that won’t allow this to be a normal holiday.

There’s only a quick tease of the film’s main villain, Mysterio as played by Jake Gyllenhaal, and he doesn’t seem to be very evil, in fact, he looks to be trying to be of some assistance during a large scale fight.

But’s it’s not all large superhero action as several moments are teased with Peter just struggling with the normal anxieties and problems that come with growing up.

There is still one thing about this trailer that’s got me thinking. If Nick Fury is asking Peter Parker for help, where are the rest of the Avengers? How does this film link with the events of the Infinity War?

Perhaps these questions and more will be answered when Spider-Man: Far From Home is released on the 5th of July next year.

Watch the US and International trailers below that both feature different footage.

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
