Adidas Release Their Skateboarding X Beavis & Butthead Collection

Iconic figureheads of the slacker generation, Beavis & Butthead feature in this new collection from Adidas.

Created by Mike Judge ‘Beavis & Butthead’ found their audience on MTV in the early to mid-nineties through generation X. The animated duo personified the disaffected social conscience of the slacker generation’s youth.

Famously Beavis & Butthead are remembered for their idiotic commentary on music videos interspersed with short stories, some of which depicted the pair at work in Burger World. In 1996 the duo moved from the small screen to the big by starring in a feature length movie, ‘Beavis & Butthead Do America’.

Now the pair have moved further from their couch to feature on Adidas’ newest collaboration. Titled the ‘Skateboarding X Beavis & Butthead Collection’, the titular characters and associated imagery adhorn six products made up primarily of apparel and one pair of sneakers.

Two tees are available. One featuring the inimitable duo, predictably failing at skateboarding. The other depicts Burger World imagery. [£27.95 each]

Finally, what would a sports brand X pop-culture icon collaboration be these days without a limited edition shoe? These variants are based on the Adidas 3MC silhouette. Designed for comfort, these shoes offer a lightweight build, cushioned insole and excellent grip for skateboarding. [3MC X Beavis & Butthead £59.95]
