Adidas Ultraboost DNA x LEGO Sneakers drop today

Adidas team up with block builders, LEGO, once more for a pair of sneakers that you can actually stick bricks to.

Aimed at the dreamers who dare to build, Adidas have produced a new collaboration shoe with LEGO. Based on the Ultraboost DNA the LEGO Plates comes with three stripes and a handful of LEGO bricks to attach to them.

Adidas’s trademark three stripes are transparent on this design allowing for different coloured bricks to be inserted. This allows for the look of the shoes to be customised time and time again.

In addition to the stripes, raised studs on the toe and insole add to the LEGO aesthetic. The base colour is Base White with a shock of yellow that protrudes from the inside.

Costing £140.00, Adidas Ultraboost DNA x LEGO go on sale at 9am (BST April 8th) today exclusively from BE quick, these are sure to sell out promptly, attracting a premium on the secondary market.

The two brands previously collaborated on a ZX 8000 silhouette that ticked a lot of boxes for fans. It featured primary colours, reminiscent of LEGO’s early bricks and some nice accessories. Though, the shoes did draw some criticism for not featuring actual building blocks. This latest team-up goes a long way to remedying that.
