Batman or Bruce Wayne? You decide!

Batman or Bruce Wayne? You decide!

A new production from Telltale Games allows you to be the Batman, and just as importantly, Bruce Wayne as well.

Telltale Games, an American independent games publisher and developer, are most famous for releasing their games in an episodic format.

In this format, they have released many great games such as a continuation of Lucasart’s Sam ‘n’ Max franchise or the Monkey Island series. However, they have also featured a lot of film and TV licensed titles in their catalogue with games such as Back To The Future, Jurassic Park, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.

Now they are going to apply their skills to the Dark Knight with the release of Batman – The Telltale Series.

The game is a fresh take on the Caped Crusader not linking it to any other story and rather than going to a realistic look, as you can see from the trailer, they are using a “non-photorealistic” look inspired by comic artists Jim Lee, Greg Capullo and Neal Adams.

All we know at the moment is that there is an even split of both Bruce Wayne and Batman in this story with some situations requiring you to make the choice over which persona to play as.

The game will be released on practically every major format in use at the moment. Expect to see the game on Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The first episode, Realm of Shadows, is scheduled to be released on August 2nd.
