Capcom to release a mini ‘Retro Station’ home arcade

Capcom’s latest home console is called the ‘Retro Station’. It comes with an 8 inch screen and is stuffed with Mega Man and Street Fighter games.

Following in the footsteps of the Capcom Home Arcade, released in 2019, the company have another home console ready to release. Called the Retro Station, this cute mini arcade machine comes bundled with ten titles. Five Mega Man games and five Street Fighter variations.

With a built in 8″ screen, joystick and six arcade style buttons, it looks like the Retro Station is intended for single player action as no port for an additional joypad seems evident from pictures released so far. What we can see is HDMI connectivity, a jack for headphones and a power socket.

Silicon Era reports that units will measure in at 329 mm x 280 mm x 315 mm and will weigh 2.1kg. The ten titles bundled with the units are expected to be as follows:

A price for the Retro Station hasn’t officially been published yet, but Silicon Era also report that it is expected to be ¥21,780 (Approximately £150, or $205). Units will go on sale in Japan from December 1st.
