This week we look ahead to Captain America: The Winter Soldier with a look at the UK premiere from Westfield London, Game Of Thrones Season 4 is coming and possibly a movie or four too? We also take a look at the last week’s new Godzilla posters from Legendary Pictures. My hasn’t he grown?

Finally the Gadgets of 007 James Bond go on show in London. Enjoy…

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

This week saw the UK premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and unusually the event took place away from The Odeon in Leicester Square, which more commonly hosts first screenings in the heart of the capital, and took up residence at the Vue cinema housed within the huge Westfield London shopping mall.

In attendance, of course, were all the lead characters including Chris Evans, Samuel L Jackson and Scarlet Johansson. Our lead film writer, John, will be heading to a preview screening this Monday ahead of general release in the UK on the 26th of March and April 4th in the US. Check back for John’s review early next week.

Game Of Thrones Season 4 And A Movie?

Game Of Thrones returns for a fourth season in early April and to ramp up anticipation HBO have been releasing a series of trailers via their YouTube channel. This latest one giving a flavour of what to expect throughout the season. Speculation was also raised by author of the Game Of Thrones books that there could be a movie to wrap the story up as well as a spin-off series based on events prior to those told in the hit show.

Godzilla Posters

A couple of new posters for Godzilla found their way onto the internet thanks to Legendary Pictures last week raising some questions as to the scale of the beast. We’ve known for some time to expect a much larger version than the classic monster, but these new posters seem to suggest that Godzilla dwarfs even the largest skyscrapers. What do you think?
