Genius builds guitar FX pedal out of a Delorean

Wait a minute Doc, are you telling me you built a guitar effects pedal… out of a DeLorean?

The way I see it, if you’re going to build an analogue delay into a car, why not do it with some style?

Ok, enough of the Back to the Future quotes, but how cool would it be to have a time machine in your guitar setup? Very cool, is the answer, and you can make this dream a reality for the, not inconsiderable, sum of £123.43 plus shipping.

These special edition delay pedals are each hand built and limited to only 100 units. Created by Vinyl Ventures Co. and sold via reverb.com, these novelty guitar pedals are built from 7-inch die-cast models of the famous Delorean time machine seen in Back to the Future.

As fully functioning analogue delay stomp boxes, each Delorean has the foot-switch mounted in the bonnet and three controls for feedback, level and time (of course time!). There’s true bypass and a switch to turn on and off the car’s headlights.

so, if you need to add that little something extra to your renditions of Johnny B. Goode, this could be the pedal for you.

In case Back to the Future isn’t your jam Vinyl Ventures also build Batmobile distortion pedals and Mr. Potatohead fuzz effects.
