Gerrard Way releases ‘Here Comes The End’ from The Umbrella Academy

My Chemical Romance frontman, Gerrad Way, releases ‘Here Comes The End’. A song created for The Umbrella Academy season two.

Not only the emo band leader of My Chemical Romance and a singer/songwriter in his own right. Gerrard Way is also an established comic book creator. His most famous title being The Umbrella Academy, which was published by Dark Horse Comics and adapted for television by Netflix.

With a second season of The Umbrella Academy due to debut on the streaming service at the end of July, Way has combined his artistic talents to create a new song to accompany the show.

‘Here Comes The End’ mirrors the apocalyptic theme present within season two. There’s a distinct sixties feel to the music too, reminiscent of the time period within which the second season takes place.

‘Here Comes The End’ features singer/songwriter Judith Hill and is available to stream/download from all major platforms now. Watch the season two trailer for The Umbrella Academy here.
