Jon Favreau confirms when to expect season two of The Mandalorian

As season one concludes on Disney+, The Mandalorian’s creator confirms that a second season will drop in 2020.

By far and away the runaway hit for Disney’s fledgling streaming service so far, The Mandalorian has taken Star Wars fans by storm. Thanks in no small part to baby Yoda. Created by Jon Favreau for LucasFilm, The Mandalorian has enjoyed a short first season. Comprising of just eight half hour chapters filled with action in a western style sci-fi space opera format.

As the first season draws to a close on Disney+, Favreau has given fans something to look forward to. Via twitter the writer/director has confirmed that The Mandalorian will return for a second season in the Autumn of 2020.

That’s about it on the news front for now. Given the show’s success we’re hopeful that a second outing will consist of a full-length season.
