Kong: Skull Island | Final Trailer Injects Humour

Kong: Skull Island looks like it’s got action for days and a side of comedy. The final trailer shows a lighter side.

I’ll eat my hat if ‘Kong: Skull Island’ isn’t leading towards a tie-in with the 2014 ‘Godzilla’ movie, and if I’m right there’s an exciting spectacle ahead. As it is the film starring a giant ape hits cinemas in March and looks very much like it will be an action packed affair.

With a weighty cast including Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly there’s plenty of expectation for this latest telling of the King Kong story.

This this final trailer hints at a broad smattering of comedic relief between oversized monsters beating the bejesus out of each other. What’s not to love?

Kong: Skull Island hits U.K. cinemas on the 9th of March and U.S. screens a day later on the 10th.

About Kong: Skull Island | “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
