LEX the Lexicon Artist – Psych Major | Video

LEX the Lexicon Artist drops a video for ‘Psych Major’, another track from her recent album, Raging Ego.

There are few Nerdcore artists hustling as hard as LEX the Lexicon Artist right now. She’s rocked three shows in the last three nights, the final one being an official SXSW Nerdcore showcase, and if you know anything about her live show you’ll know the stage is where she’s most potent.

‘Psych Major’, produced by Mikal kHill, is the latest track from the album, Raging Ego, to get the visual treatment. Biographical elements form the basis of LEX’s lyrics on a track that uses pop sensibilities to lull you into a false sense of security and a degree of crazy that proves ever so slightly unsettling.

The low budget video, directed and edited by Jackie Grieff, provides a fun and a loose narrative from which LEX shines with an energetic performance reminiscent of her live shows.

A weird Asian nerd-turned-marketer-turned-rapper, LEX enjoys running and jumping around maniacally on stage while surgically administering rapid-fire rhymes about specs, sales, psychology, self-hatred, and her gigantic Raging Ego.
