Lifeline, an insurance company that utilizes time travel to protect your life!
Lifeline is the latest original series from YouTube Red, the subscription-based service from the famous internet video website and producer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
In this series, Lifeline is a unique insurance company that protects their clients by travelling thirty-three days into the future and saving your life at key moments.
As you’ll see from the trailer, this has certainly caught my attention as it raises all sorts of questions. Lifeline isn’t simply using time travel for profit, there is a much larger picture here that will probably be the season-long story thread.
Lifeline will be available to watch on YouTube Red from October 11th.
YouTube Red is currently only available in United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Korea.
“Lifeline”, set in the not-too-distant future, centers around a little known life insurance company that sends its agents forward 33 days in time to prevent the accidental deaths of its clients. The company’s best agent, Conner Hooks (Gilford), has never missed a save – until he takes on the most personal case of his life. When sixteen-year-old, Norah (Park) is orphaned on his watch, Conner pledges to protect her, even if that means putting his career at Lifeline – or his own life – in jeopardy.
