The Long Awaited Return Of Rick & Morty | Season 3 Trailer

Finally! The Rick & Morty season three trailer and release date is here. Prepare to get dark, and weird. Dark-weird.

It’s been a long wait, but finally we have a date for season three of Rick & Morty. Debuting on Adult Swim from July 30th, this third season looks set to take drunk, genius, Rick, and his awkward ¬†grandson, Morty, on darker adventures than ever before.

The show has become a phenomenon building a significant following throughout its first two seasons. Morose storytelling is balanced with sharp humour and a lot of care and attention to continuity and pacing.

It’s this commitment to the show that delayed production and caused a third season to arrive much later than expected. Whilst writer, Dan Harmon, was ready to move on with season three, his production team felt that the episodes weren’t as good as they could be and insisted on putting in the graft to correct that.

Hopefully the wait will have been worth it.

About Rick & Morty |¬†Rick and Morty is Adult Swim’s most scientifically accurate animated comedy. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it catalogues the bizarre misadventures of a bored scientific genius/drunkard and his socially awkward grandson, Morty. Their exploits tend to have unintended consequences for Morty’s dysfunctional family, especially his unfailingly mediocre father, Jerry.
