Marvel drop a first trailer for Disney+ exclusive, WandaVision

Here’s a first look at Marvel Studio’s new show WandaVision, the show featuring Scarlet Witch and Vision will be exclusive to Disney+.

‘WandaVision’ is the first series from Marvel Studios that will stream exclusively on the Disney+ platform. Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany as Vision – who reprise their movie roles for the small screen – the show maintains continuity with the long-established Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As the two superheroes settle down to enjoy an ordinary suburban lifestyle, they begin to realise that not everything is quite as it should be. A surreal setting and unusual circumstances give WandaVision a dark and eerie presence.

Whilst the trailer gives little away in terms of storyline, there are some fun Easter eggs for comic book fans to spot. Both Wanda and Vision are seen wearing old-fashioned costumes, as seen in older Marvel comics. Wanda is seen wearing her famous Scarlet Witch headpiece whilst Vision appears in a tight green and yellow outfit.

No release date has been revealed as of yet. However, the trailer and a new poster for the show state that WandaVision is “coming soon”.

Further shows in development by Marvel Studios as part of their expansion of the MCU into television include ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, ‘Loki’ and ‘She-Hulk‘.
