Celebrating each of the games in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Puma are releasing RS-Dreamer Sunshine and RS-Dreamer Galaxy sneakers.
Last week Puma released the RS Dreamer ‘Super Mario 64’, a sneaker collaboration with Nintendo to celebrate 35 years of ‘Super Mario Bros’. The shoes sold out promptly with many pairs finding their way onto resale sites for a premium mark-up.
This week there’s news of two new collaboration colourways. Both ‘Super Mario Sunshine’ and ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ themed shoes are set to drop.
The three pairs form a tribute to each of the games included in the recently announced ‘Super Mario 3D All-Stars‘ game for the Nintendo Switch.
Whilst the ‘Super Mario 64’ colourway reflected the bold, primary colours found in Mario’s famous plumber’s outfit, the newer additions to the range carry distinctly different colour schemes.
Unsurprisingly, perhaps, the ‘RS-Dreamer Galaxy’ shoes come in dark blue and black tones with pinpoint stars dotted across the upper. In contrast the ‘RS-Dreamer Sunshine’ come in a bright aqua colour with white details that invoke the image of water.
Both pairs come with ‘Super Mario’ stitched along the outer tongue and feature Mario and their respective game logo on the in-soles.
Reports suggest that the ‘Galaxy’ and ‘Sunshine’ variants will go on sale on September 17th via puma.com and footlocker outlets.
