Mr. Robot | Season 2 Trailer

Mr. Robot | Season 2 Trailer

Mr. Robot was a surprise hit in 2015 which followed the story of unlikely revolutionary Elliot. A cyber security engineer by day, vigilante hacker by night.

When Elliot found himself at the core of a plot to bring down capitalism in the United States his life and sanity were at risk. Struggling to keep a grip on reality Elliot becomes unsure of what is real and what is in his head as he loses control over his self medicated psychological problems.

Is he a pawn in the underground hacker revolution, or is he leading it? Who is Mr.Robot?

The show became a massive his in 2015 on the USA network and on Amazon Prime here in the UK. Now Elliot returns for a second season, though it’s not obvious in which direction his story will move after the events of the first season finale.

Mr Robot returns for a seconds season to USA this summer.

Mr. Robot is a psychological thriller that follows Elliot (Rami Malek, “24”), a young programmer, who works as a cyber security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader (Christian Slater, “The Adderall Diaries”) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the corporation he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world. The series also stars Portia Doubleday (“Her”), Carly Chaikin (“Suburgatory”) and Martin Wallström (“Simple Simon”).
