New Release | Short Fuze & Uncommon Nasa – Generosity

Inspired by Mr Robot, Short Fuze and Uncommon Nasa tap into the television show’s psyche for a song that echoes the sentiment of its characters.

Not a direct homage to the show, ‘Generosity’ is a song that echoes the sentiments conveyed by the characters in it. “What if Elliot was a rapper/poet with something to say about how he found the world? This is that. The goal was to create a song that stands alone whether you’ve seen the show or not, while also paying some tribute to it. ”

The finale of the third season of Mr Robot aired on Wednesday, Net Neutrality, a major talking point in the U.S. this week, ended on Thursday.

‘Generosity’ seeks to tap into the underground elements of the show with a timely reminder that the real world isn’t a million miles away from the fiction portrayed.

‘Generosity’ by Short Fuze and Uncommon Nasa is available as a ‘name your price’ release via Uncommon Records’ bandcamp page.

About Short Fuze | There is a legacy of storytelling in hip hop music. From Slick Rick and KRS-ONE to the poets of today, hip hop has always been a way to comment on our world, ourselves, and share the tales of triumph and tragedy that fill our communities every day. For nearly 20 years, Short Fuze has shown his world and himself over drum loops, baring his soul in unabashed, brutal honesty.
About Uncommon Nasa | As an emcee, Nasa is inspired by the words of the famed screenwriter and playwright Rod Serling. In response to a question about how he’d like to be remembered 100 years from now, Serling simply said “as a “writer.” Nasa’s music is a story of self—often focusing on defining moments in his life and current events that strike a chord.
