Nintendo X Puma RS-Dreamer ‘Super Mario 64’ drop today

Nintendo teams up with Puma for a shoe collaboration in celebration of Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary.

Puma are releasing a special ‘Super Mario 64’ edition of their RS-Dreamer basketball silhouette. The shoe is more commonly associated with American rapper, J. Cole whose collaboration with the footwear manufacturer has spawned a bold, contrasting colourway in black a neon accents.

In celebration of Super Mario Bros. turning 35 this year, Puma are issuing a special edition version of the RS-Dreamer that takes it’s design cues from Nintendo’s Super Mario 64.

Most notably, these sneakers come in bold primary colours that echo the red, white and blue of Mario’s plumber’s uniform. There are hints of yellow that pick out the colour of the buttons on Mario’s dungarees.

As you’d expect there are a number of themed accents. Each tongue carries a tag bearing the words ‘Super Mario’ in the same font used on ‘Super Mario 64’ packaging, but in white. On the heal of both sneakers you’ll find an invincibility star. The insoles depict scenes from the game.

There’s no time to save up for these bad boys though. They drop today (September 4th 2020) at a price of $125.00 and will be available online from or footlocker sites.
