No Dr Who For Xmas But Explosive Return On New Years

Series 12 of Dr Who will return to our screens on New Years Day for the “biggest episode” ever!

Jodie Whitaker will return to play the latest regenerated version of the famous timelord in series 12 of Dr Who.

Series 12 is counting from the shows relaunch in 2005 with the Dr played by Christopher Eccleston. Dr Who has of course been running from 1963 and the release of the 2020 season trailer marked the 56th anniversary of the show.

As seen in this new trailer, the new series of Dr Who will feature the return of some familiar foes including a return of the Cybermen. On the human side, the trailer also features an appearance from Stephen Fry and it has already been said that Lenny Henry will also guest star this series.
