Following unprecedented demand upon release the NES Classic Edition sold out in the blink of an eye. Then Nintendo stopped production and the world was all like “WTF Nintendo!!!”.
True to their word, Nintendo have released the news we’ve all been waiting for. The NES Classic Edition will be back in stores next month.
The highly sought after miniature version of the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) sold out faster than many of us could hit the buy button at online retailers when originally released in 2016.
Demand prevailed but many fans were left disappointed when Nintendo announced that they would cease production of the console in April 2017.
The subsequent launch of the SNES Mini healed wounds for a time, and then Nintendo announced that the NES Classic would be returning in 2018.
Now we have an actual release date for the return of the NES Classic as the Japan gaming company revealed via twitter that units would be available next month from June 29th in the U.K. and U.S.

Units will retail for £49.99 in the U.K. and should be found at the official Nintendo online store.
