Resident Evil: The Final Chapter | International Trailer

The Resident Evil franchise moves into its final chapter with the sixth instalment bringing the saga to a close.

Making it the most profitable video game movie franchise the Resident Evil series of films have reportedly grossed over $1 billion dollars to date.

The saga began in 2002 when Milla Jovovich was cast in the lead for the first ‘Resident Evil’ movie. She has reprised her role in each of the subsequent sequels: ‘Apocalypse’, ‘Extinction’, ‘Afterlife’, ‘Retribution’ and now ‘The Final Chapter’.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

The Final Chapter takes up the story where ‘Resident Evil Retribution’ left off as Alice (Jovovich) appears to be the sole survivor following humanity’s final stand against the undead. Game Of Thrones’ actor Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont aka ‘Captain Friendzone’) returns once more to the franchise as Dr. Alexander Isaacs.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is set for a January release date in the U.S. with a U.K. release pencilled in for a month later in February. Other regions should check IMDB.

Synopsis | Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
