Resident Evil HD To Terrify Once Again!

Resident Evil HD To Terrify Once Again!

Members of an elite task force known as S.T.A.R.S. investigate the disappearance of some of their team on the outskirts of Racoon City. During the search they’re attacked by rabid dogs and two of the team, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, run to an old mansion for safety. But is it really safe inside?

The original Resident Evil will return again for a third time in a newly created HD version for current and next gen consoles. The original release on the Sony Playstation was way back in 1996. The game utilised pre-rendered backgrounds with the characters and actionable objects created with 3D polygons.

The game was rebuilt from the ground up as an exclusive for the Nintendo GameCube in 2006 (later ported over to the Wii). Using all new graphics which looks absolutely beautiful, the game had never looked so good. I owned a copy and remember playing in my darkened bedroom and scaring myself silly with it.

Now the game is to return again in full HD for next generation consoles with a 720p HD copy for current machines (Except WiiU).

Resident Evil HD will be a digital only download except for limited edition retail release in Japan. No prices for Europe or the US has been announced but the Japanese release will be 3900 Yen.

Resident Evil HD will be released in 2015 for Sony Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox360 and Xbox One.
