Prepare to revisit Bayside High as ‘Saved by the Bell’ returns. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley reprise their roles as Slater and Jesse.

‘Saved by the Bell’ is returning with a new cast alongside some old faces. It’s not a reboot as such, more a sequel with Mario Lopez reprising his role as A.C. Slater. Elizabeth Berkley also appears as Jesse Spano in a first teaser for the show.

Now the school gym teacher, Slater finds himself having to teach the offspring of former schoolmates. Mark-Paul Gosselaar is also set to return as the original show’s biggest heart-throb, Zack Morris. Zack has become California Governor and soon finds himself under scrutiny for closing under performing schools. In a bid to rectify the issue he proposes sending the affected kids to higher performing schools.

The influx of new students to Bayside High is sure to shake things up. Over privileged kids come face to face with a dose of reality.
