Stranger Things is set to return on Independence Day

Switching it’s familiar autumnal setting for a summer outing, Stranger Things will return to Netflix for Independence Day.

Fans of Stranger Things can look forward to catching up with the inhabitants of Hawkins, Indiana this summer as the show shifts from its customary Autumn setting.

A poster for season three of the phenomenally popular show teases with the tagline: ‘One summer can change everything‘. Set in 1985, the adventures of Will Byers, Eleven and gang will take place around America’s annual Independence Day celebrations.

It’s safe to assume that the levity of the season will be soured somewhat by another run-in with demons from the Upside-Down that routinely converge on the small town.
