Swamp Thing & Ghettosocks – AYAHUASCA | Video

Swamp Thing and Ghettosocks combine skills in a new video for the track ‘AYAHUASCA’ taken from the 2017 album The Octagon.

As with the album the track is taken from, this new video for the track ‘Ayahuasca’ is a collaborative effort between Swamp Thing and Ghettosocks.

Featuring vocals from Timbuktu, Chokules and Savillion (Swamp Thing) alongside Juno Award nominated rapper Ghettosocks, the latter also directed, shot and edited the video.

The four rappers strike an ominous presence against backdrop images taken from the 1973 fantasy, drama film, ‘The Holy Mountain’.

‘Ayahuasca’ is taken from the 2017 album ‘The Octagon’ from Swamp Thing and Ghettosocks.

The four rappers are no strangers as each are active members of the ‘Backburner collective‘ whilst Ghettosocks and Timbuktu frequently collaborate as ‘Teenburger‘.

‘The Octagon’ is available to stream and download via the Swamp Thing bandcamp page.

About Swamp Thing | Swamp Thing is the brainchild of Timbuktu, Chokeules and Savilion. Their first album Creature Feature offered a glimpse into the warped world of Swamp Thing and b-movie monsters, followed by their darker and more polished sophomore release, Firedogs. Swamp Thing continues to improve and shows no signs of slowing down. Three well-established artists joining forces to do what they do best: make dope hip hop, and rock hype live shows, fine-tuned after years of hard work in the studio, and countless late night performances on the road.

About Ghettosocks | Noted as one of the top rappers in Canada (The CBC’s Top 25 Greatest Canadian Rappers Ever), Ghettosocks is a JUNO Award nominated Hip Hop Producer and MC born in Ottawa and living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
