The Cybertronic Spree – Dare To Be Stupid [Video]

Singing transformers and multiple instances of “Weird Al” Yankovic? Like 2020 couldn’t be any more strange? The Cybertronic Spree encourage you to ‘Dare To Be Stupid’.

With a cover of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s ‘Dare To Be Stupid‘, The Cybertronic Spree enlist the help of a gang of Weird Al lookalikes for an action-packed, fun-filled new video.

The visual is a tribute to the original master of parody, to be released on Weird Al’s birthday. Shot in late 2019, before Covid-19 restrictions on social gatherings, the video incorporates a live show setting, cut with slapstick scenes.

Look closely and you might recognise a couple of the Weird Al’s. Our good friends, Wordburglar and More or Les don a wig, moustache and glasses to take on a whole new persona. Stick around until the end of the video and you may be surprised by the last Weird Al.

‘Dare To Be Stupid’ is taken from the Cybertronic Spree’s first studio album titled, ‘Transformers 1986’. Download or stream this via the band’s bandcamp page.

About The Cybertronic Spree | The Cybertronic Spree is a band of Transformers who perform classic cartoon, video game, and anime theme songs at full volume. Their metal anthems, based around the soundtrack from the 1986 animated film, The Transformers: The Movie, have since transformed into a one-of-a-kind live show that has audiences singing along.
