The Punisher returns for season two with a crescendo of violence

Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle in a second, and likely, final season of Marvel’s The Punisher.

With Netflix and Marvel’s recent predilection for cancelling fan favourite shows from the streaming service it seems inevitable that The Punisher will suffer the same fate as Daredevil and Luke Cage.

On a positive note, those fond of the violent exploits of former marine, Frank Castle can rest easy that they have at least thirteen more episodes to enjoy as season two of The Punisher hits Netflix on January 18th.

This new trailer for the second season finds Frank Castle teaming up with an unlikely ally, Amy Bendix (Giorgia Whigham) as the former marine steps in to protect the girl during a bar brawl.
