Vans team up with another pop-culture icon for their latest collaboration. The Simpsons have a second coming thirteen years after the first team-up.
Skate brand, Vans, continue their relentless mission to collaborate with every significant facet of pop-culture. The Simpsons will feature in a new drop due next month.
It won’t be the first time Homer, Bart and family have featured on Vans footwear. A capsule consisting of fourteen shoe iterations was released in celebration of ‘The Simpsons Movie’ thirteen years ago. Twelve well-known artists were enlisted to create designs.
Those shoes are hard to find now, but those that remain command a price in the region of $25,000 according to footwearnews.com.
Reports suggest that this latest range was scheduled to drop this month but has since been pushed back to mid-August.

If previous collaborations are anything to go by we’d expect to see designs adorning Vans staple footwear. The Old Skool, Sk8-Hi, Era and Authentic should all feature and the shoes will, no doubt, be accompanied by a range of similarly themed apparel.
So far, all we have is a short promo video from Vans and a holding page on their website where interested parties can register to be notified once the collection is made available.
