Adidas have dropped some big pop-culture collaborations for adults recently. Their forthcoming Toy Story collection, however, is aimed at a younger market.
In recent weeks we’ve seen Adidas drop LEGO themed ZX8000 sneakers as well as add to their Star Wars range with styles based on Lando Calrissian and Boba Fett. All of which sold out promptly and now retail on the secondary market for hugely inflated prices.
In October the sports brand drops another pop-culture collaboration. This time the range is themed around Toy Story and is aimed at kids.
Key characters like Woody and Buzz form the inspiration for various silhouettes. The former is the basis for two pairs in the range. The first being the D.O.N issue 2 in blue with a sheriff star on the tongue, the second is perhaps the standout in range based the NMD_R1. They come with a white base colour, red trim and cow print soles.
Other shoes in the range include pink Superstars, Deep Threat and Dame 7 silhouettes. Perhaps the most fun pair in the range are Top Ten Hi shoes themed around Toy Story’s dinosaur, Rex.
In addition to shoes there are a range of t-shirts, basketball tops and balls. The Toy Story x Adidas capsule drops on October 15th via adidas.com. Prices range between $25 and $120.
