Uncommon NASA – Words Sung [Video]

Uncommon NASA drops a homemade video for ‘Words Sung’, a song that proved to be prophetic.

Written long before Covid-19 was prevalent within the public zeitgeist, ‘Words Sung’ has proven to be somewhat prophetic. Listen closely and you’ll hear Uncommon NASA spit, “So I quarantine to avoid infection”. Ironically that’s exactly what the New York rapper was doing when he filmed this DIY video for the track.

Similar to the The Scribes’ latest visual, which we posted about over the weekend, NASA utilised the enforced quarantine in the spring of 2020 and channelled the sense of being trapped in ones own home into his art. The result is a very honest view of the rapper and a glimpse at his reality during testing times.

The video release coincides with the launch of vinyl pre-orders for his recent ‘Ornate EP’. The record is available in two colours priced at €15 each through A Night on the Canopy.

About Uncommon Nasa | As an emcee, Nasa is inspired by the words of the famed screenwriter and playwright Rod Serling. In response to a question about how he’d like to be remembered 100 years from now, Serling simply said “as a writer.” Nasa’s music is a story of self—often focusing on defining moments in his life and current events that strike a chord.
