YOU Could Be Part of Bill & Ted Face The Music!

Record yourself rocking out to a demo track and you could find yourself in Bill & Ted Face The Music!

The original Bill & Ted films have long been a favourite of mine. The two films, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991) have become cult classics with rumours of a third film swirling around for years.

In 2011, the writers of the original films, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, announced that hey had written a new film that both Alex Winter (Bill) and Keanu Reeves (Ted) were very happy with.

Since then, the battle was getting enough people interested with financing the film. It took almost ten years but Bill & Ted Face The Music finally went into production in 2019 under the direction of Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest (1999), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005) and Red 2 (2013))

Since then, we’ve had a few production stills and confirmation that the first teaser trailer is still a few weeks away (via Ed Solomon on Twitter).

Today, a website has emerged entitled, Party On With Bill & Ted. In a scenario I imagine much like the music video for Just a day by Feeder, the production team would like the fans to become involved with the new film.

At the top of the page is a short demo track of around twenty-five seconds. All you have to do is just to unleash your creative desires and record yourself rocking out to the music. You can use real instruments, fake instruments, it doesn’t matter at all!

The most important thing to remember is not to break any pandemic rules and not to show any copyrighted material in the video (including tattoos!). Also, don’t worry about the audio from your video as it likely won’t be used.

The only other rule is that this is only open to those in the US and UK and you will be contacted via email if your clip is used.

So, if you fancy possibly seeing yourself in the new Bill & Ted, get filming and uploading your clips at

Bill & Ted Face The Music is currently scheduled to open later this year but obviously with world events, this may change.
